UN will ‘stay the course’ in Liberia, peacekeeping chief says
11 September 2014 – The United Nations will continue to stand by Liberia and its neighbours currently battling an “unprecedented” Ebola outbreak, the Organization’s peacekeeping chief pledged today in Monrovia, spotlighting his mission to assess how the UN can further support the country.

Nepal FPU offer Medical Outreach
Nepal FPU-1 organized a free medical outreach and cleanliness exercise at Ducor Hotel Rock Hill community on 14th June as part of the Contingent’s effort to reach out to the public. Approximately 190 people benefited from the Community Health Awareness programme, free distribution of medicines and medical treatment and examination.

Pak Med Organizes Ebola Management Workshop
Doctors at PakMed Level II Hospital in Monrovia on 22 July 2014 organized a workshop on Ebola management as part of UNMIL’s stepped up campaign against the spread of the virus in Liberia.  UNMIL Radio and UNMIL Outreach units concurrently provide preventive messages on Ebola since the emergence of the virus in Liberia early this year.
