As part of the regular consultations between MINUSMA and the Malian authorities, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of MINUSMA, Mr. Albert Koenders, yesterday met with the President of Mali, His Excellency Mr. Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta.
During this meeting, they discussed preparations for inclusive national dialogue, the security situation and progress in the deployment of MINUSMA's troops in Mali.
They stressed the good cooperation between MINUSMA and the Malian Government and talked about various projects related to security, dialogue and development.
They also discussed the upcoming visit of the Security Council to Mali and MINUSMA.
