Closure of UNMIL

The United Nations Mission in Liberia was established in October 2003 to support for the implementation of a ceasefire agreement and peace process, and to assist with the maintenance and restoration of law and order throughout Liberia. The mission successfully completed its mandate on 30 March 2018.

<p style="text-align: justify;">Coffee Break today featured live interviews with the following guests: <strong>Professor Adamu Mohammed</strong>-Lead Facilitator/ECOWAS Convention on Exemption Procedures on Small Arms and Light Weapons…….ECOWAS steps up efforts on the management of Small Arms and Light Weapons in the Sub-region; <strong>Jerome Karnwea</strong>-County Agriculture Coordinator Maryland County………..He will tell us more about the recent visit of <strong>DSRSG Yacoub El-Hillo</strong>-Peace Consolidation in UNMIL; UNCT, MOA and county authorities to the people of Gbawenken in support of Rural Women Economic Empowerment; <strong>James Mulbah</strong>-Executive Director/Green Cities……….The group partners with UNMIL in launching a sanitation and hygiene promotion campaign in Monrovia; and <strong>Rally Fallah</strong>-Head of the Mandela Washington Fellows –Liberia Chapter……….The organization speaks on the state of the electoral process.<br>&nbsp;</p>
