Closure of UNMIL

The United Nations Mission in Liberia was established in October 2003 to support for the implementation of a ceasefire agreement and peace process, and to assist with the maintenance and restoration of law and order throughout Liberia. The mission successfully completed its mandate on 30 March 2018.

<p style="text-align: justify;">Coffee Break on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 featured the following persons:<br><strong>Winston Bedell</strong> / Communications Officer Liberia Electricity Corporation.&nbsp; Bedell disclosed that the LEC has sent 25 employees to Nigeria to undergo intensive training.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><strong>Eddie Jawolo</strong>/ Executive Director of the National Youth Movement for Transparent Elections (NAYMOTE ). Jawolo said NAYMOTE is conducting youth peace dialogue in a bid to boost efforts for peaceful elections.<br><strong>Dieudonne Perry </strong>/ Communication Manager Smart –Liberia.&nbsp; He announced the launch of a campaign called employment accelerator campaign.&nbsp;<br>Archie Kromah-Pharmacist/Epidemiologist.&nbsp; He has been providing education on the advantages and disadvantages of drinking alcohol.</p>
