Closure of UNMIL

The United Nations Mission in Liberia was established in October 2003 to support for the implementation of a ceasefire agreement and peace process, and to assist with the maintenance and restoration of law and order throughout Liberia. The mission successfully completed its mandate on 30 March 2018.

<p><strong>Coffee Break</strong> is UNMIL Radio’s flagship news and current affairs program that highlights issues of concerns to UNMIL, government of Liberia, Civil Society and Grassroots communities. Issues such as peace and reconciliation, elections, women’s issues, current events, governance, rule of law, electricity and road construction among others are captured in the program which is aired Mondays-Fridays.</p>

<li>Destroys over a million USD Worth of Illicit Drugs;</li>
<li>Anne Gbei - Program Manager / Liberia Prevention of Maternal mortality</li>
<li>holds a four day brainstorming section on ways to boast maternal health services;</li>
<li>Christopher Sayeh – Chairman / Independent Old timers Association celebrates its 38th Anniversary this weekend;&nbsp;</li>
