Closure of UNMIL

The United Nations Mission in Liberia was established in October 2003 to support for the implementation of a ceasefire agreement and peace process, and to assist with the maintenance and restoration of law and order throughout Liberia. The mission successfully completed its mandate on 30 March 2018.

<p>Palava Hut on UNMIL Radio comes on every Wednesday at 3pm and discusses issues of reconciliation, peace and accountability.<br>Today’s discussions focused on the corporate social responsibility and the prudent expenditure of development allotted funds.<br>The guests, James Otto and Arthur Cassel, are executives of the Sustainable Development Institute, a civil society pressure group.</p>
