Closure of UNMIL

The United Nations Mission in Liberia was established in October 2003 to support for the implementation of a ceasefire agreement and peace process, and to assist with the maintenance and restoration of law and order throughout Liberia. The mission successfully completed its mandate on 30 March 2018.

<div style="text-align: justify;">Palava Hut, a conflict management/resolution radio on UNMIL comes on every Wednesday at 3pm.<br>Today’s topic dwell on International Day of Peace. In Liberia a civil society group, Peace Service Liberia, planned a jamboree in Ganta, Nimba County to honor the day.</div>
