Closure of UNMIL

The United Nations Mission in Liberia was established in October 2003 to support for the implementation of a ceasefire agreement and peace process, and to assist with the maintenance and restoration of law and order throughout Liberia. The mission successfully completed its mandate on 30 March 2018.

<p style="text-align: justify;">Coffee Break on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 hosted the following individuals:<br>Robert Reeves-Coordinator/Secretariat of the National Media Council disclosed that the TNational Media Council has handed down decision in the complaint of Journalist Franklin Doloquee against the Liberty Party.<br>Rev. Robert Bimba-Head/Community of Hope Agriculture Program-CHAP/National SRI Facilitator said CHAP is hosting a three -day National project Exchange and Review workshop on the Japanese Rice Grant.<br>Timothy Kpeh-Executive Director/United Youth for Peace, Education, Transparency and Development announced the start of a campaign to engage political candidates to commitment to the promotion of water, sanitation and hygiene services in the country.<br>Evangelist Joshua Milton Blayee-Former Rebel Commander/ULIMO J said he is undertaking a peace promotion campaign.<br>Isaac Redd-Director of Communications/House of Representatives announced the Legislature delaying its annual break to address what he calls serious issues of national concern.</p>
