LNP Get Computer Training in Zwedru

Computer literacy is critical to effective career performance, which was why Indian FPU-2 organized a one-week basic computer training programme in June 2014 for members of the Liberia National Police (LNP) assigned in Zwedru, Grand Gedeh County. Eight LNP officers, including one female, participated in the exercise. The course curriculum was designed to meet specific training needs of LNP officers during performance of their various professional duties. The courses offered included word processing, office applications and e-mail and web access skills.

The Indian FPU-2 encouraged the participants to take the training seriously by being punctual and participatory. At the close of the training exercise, the participants shared their ideas and experiences they gained during the week-long computer training exercise.

Other members of the LNP and National Palace of Correction (NPC) in Zwedru are expected to benefit from future Indian FPU vocational and computer training exercises.
