Nepal FPU offer Medical Outreach

Nepal FPU-1 organized a free medical outreach and cleanliness exercise at Ducor Hotel Rock Hill community on 14th June as part of the Contingent’s effort to reach out to the public. Approximately 190 people benefited from the Community Health Awareness programme, free distribution of medicines and medical treatment and examination. The UNPOL Community Policing Advisory Team, Public Information Team and the LNP Community Service Section used the occasion to educate members of the community on the importance of the community policing. The beneficiaries thanked UNMIL for the initiative and promised to work with the Police for a crime-free community.
