Closure of UNMIL

The United Nations Mission in Liberia was established in October 2003 to support for the implementation of a ceasefire agreement and peace process, and to assist with the maintenance and restoration of law and order throughout Liberia. The mission successfully completed its mandate on 30 March 2018.

<p style="text-align: justify;">Coffee Break on Friday, December 18, 2017 hosted the following persons:</p>

<ul><li style="text-align: justify;">Augustine Tamba - an Official of the Liberia Elections Observation Network -LEON conducts what it calls citizens’ perception survey on the legal process;</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Dr. Yah Gono - President / Nimba County Community College launches an Early Childhood Education Program to boost the country’s education sector;</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Siatta Scott - Johnson - Coordinator /Female Journalists Association of Liberia&nbsp; -FeJAL ends its retreat in Nimba County;</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Sam Collins - Spokesman /Liberia National Police gives updates on the operations of the LNP</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Alphonso Quenneh - Executive Director / Foundation Against Illicit Drugs and Child Abuse -FADCA conducts a survey on the social and economic impact of illicit drugs in Liberia</li>
