Closure of UNMIL

The United Nations Mission in Liberia was established in October 2003 to support for the implementation of a ceasefire agreement and peace process, and to assist with the maintenance and restoration of law and order throughout Liberia. The mission successfully completed its mandate on 30 March 2018.

<p style="text-align: justify;">Coffee Break ON Thursday , December 14, 2017 hosted the following persons :<br><strong>Rev. Jarvin Bestman</strong>/Executive Director Children Assistance Rescue Mission. Bestman said his institution is partnering with UNMIL in setting up human rights protection clubs in high schools in Monrovia<br><strong>Sam Collins</strong> / Spokesman of the Liberia National Police. Collins provided updates on the operations of the LNP<br><strong>Sorbor George</strong> / Communications Officer Ministry of Health. George disclosed that the Minister of Health is touring medical facilities across the country<br><strong>Fatima Bility </strong>/ An Executive of the group” Voices Against Violence” . She said the youth group is rolling out a campaign to prevent violence against women</p>
