Closure of UNMIL

The United Nations Mission in Liberia was established in October 2003 to support for the implementation of a ceasefire agreement and peace process, and to assist with the maintenance and restoration of law and order throughout Liberia. The mission successfully completed its mandate on 30 March 2018.

<p style="text-align: justify;">Coffee Break featured the following guests:<br /><strong>Dr. Rose Jallah Macauley</strong>-Chief of Party/Ebola Survivor Project &amp; <strong>Amanda Ndorbor</strong>-Coordinator/National Ebola Secretariat speaks about the essence of the Ebola Survivor Project;<br /><strong>Sam Collins</strong> &ndash; Spokesman / Liberia National Police who provided an update on LNP activities; <strong>James Kwabo </strong>- Head of Alternative Youth Radio Zorzor, Lofa County expressed excitement about resuming broadcast after a month long disruption due to lighting; and <strong>Nathan Gardie</strong>-Chairman/NEC Nomination Committee who also provided update on the nomination process.</p>
