    • The Liberia Revenue Authority has held the first National Revenue Symposium, under the theme "Domestic Revenue Mobilization." Findings from four regional dialogues on domestic resource mobilization held last year and early 2017 were presented to stakeholders.
    • LRA’s Commissioner General said the commission faces significant challenges in revenue mobilization and collection. Elfreda Stewart-Tamba said the countries debt can only be paid if revenues are collected.
    • Internews and partners has concluded a two day debate moderating training for thirty-one community Radio and Urban Journalists in Monrovia.
    • The Government of Liberia through the National Public Health Institute of Liberia (NPHIL) has shut down 55 mineral water companies in Monrovia and its environs.
    • A Liberian academic and Mo Ibrahim Fellow say the African Development Bank is evidently living up to the intent and purpose for which it was set up.
    • A global youth event–Open Conference 2017 aimed at ensuring open access to education, information and health is to shortly take place in Berlin, Germany.
