    • The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Autonomous Commissions and Agencies Jonathan Kaipay has written a communication to the plenary of the Senate calling on President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf to rescind Decree 84 reducing Liberia’s nautical miles from 6 to 3.
    • The Institute for Research and Democratic Development (IREDD) and partners have launched a project aimed at promoting transparency and accountability in the October legislative and presidential elections.
    • A representative from the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Center in Ghana is in Liberia conducting a-two week training for officers of the Liberia National Police (LNP).
    • The Lead for Community Engagements at the Partnership for the Research on Ebola Virus in Liberia (Prevail) says the essence for the Ebola Natural History Study is to provide therapeutic drug for the cure of Ebola and also provide medical solution to the post Ebola complications Ebola survival experience.
    • The Head of the Ebola Survivors Network Patrick Farlay said that Ebola Survivors are still experiencing about 60% job discrimination.
