    Name of guests/resource persons:  Rillis Maria Saway; Founder and head of a charity organization, African Child Rillis.
    DISCUSSION: The guests shared her experiences and explain her life’s story to motivate and inspire other young women and girls in Liberia.
    According to Rillis Maria Saway, she was born and raised up in Liberia.
    Rillis Maria Saway stated that her aim is to inspire other young women and girls; as well as help to improve the lives of less fortunate children in Liberia.
    She said the purpose of the African Child Rillis is to turn Liberian arts and culture in to a unique fashion style.  
    She added that the African Child Rillis has a vision to take acts and culture to the national and international level with the aim to dress this generation with men shoes, slingers, coats, bags, T-shirts, and children clothes among others.

    On Monday January 29, 2018, President George Weah delivered his first State of the Nation Address to members of the 54th Legislature in a Joint Session. The ceremony started at 2:00 p.m., but the President started his address after 4:00 p.m.
    The President’s address to the legislature is in consonance with Article 58 of the 1986 Constitution, which mandates the President of Liberia to report to the legislature on the state of the nation once a year and to present his or her legislative programs for the year.
