    Some callers have applauded the government decision to lift the ban placed on motorcyclist riding on major streets of Liberia in 2013. Others disagree saying, it will increase crime rate and road accident.

    Name of guests/resource persons:  Patience Beer; Founder and Head of the organization, Single Empowerment Network Foundation.
    DISCUSSION: The guest focused her discussion on some of the gaps that are stopping young women and girls from building their self-esteem; as well as some of the reasons why young women and girls need to build their self-esteem and personal lives;
    Patience Beer defined Self-esteem as the reflection of a person’s over all subjective emotional evaluation of his or her own worth.
    According to her, self-esteem is how you see, value, and respects yourself as a young woman or a girl.
    She therefore urged young women and girls to always believe in themselves and always have positive outlooks of themselves; regardless of their situation or circumstances.
    Patience said this is the way for young women and girls to build their self-esteem.
