    Coffee Break is UNMIL Radio’s flagship news and current affairs program that highlights issues of concerns to UNMIL, government of Liberia, Civil Society and Grassroots communities. Issues such as peace and reconciliation, elections, women’s issues, current events, governance, rule of law, electricity and road construction among others are captured in the program which is aired Mondays-Fridays.
    Coffee Break today featured live interviews with the following persons and issues:

    • Atty. Alice Sirleaf- Assistant Manager /Office of Jury Management  steps up efforts to improve jury services and boost the rule of law;
    • Amb. Juli Endee - Executive Director / Liberia Crusade for Peace - announces plans to intensify its peace initiatives in key parts of the country as Liberia gets ready for a run-off Presidential election.
    • Sam Collins – Spokesman / Liberia National Police provides update of the operation of the LNP;
    • Roland Kamara - Public Relations Officer of the group-   Muslims United for Peace  invites prominent Scholar Shayk Khalid Yasin to promote messages peace, unity and religious harmony during this electoral period;
    • Lorvonne Massalay is a member of the Girls In Change Mentorship Forum  a community based organization is holding what it calls “Big Sisters Story Telling Event.”
