Coffee Break is UNMIL Radio’s flagship news and current affairs program that highlights issues of concerns to UNMIL, government of Liberia, Civil Society and Grassroots communities. Issues such as peace and reconciliation, elections, women’s issues, current events, governance, rule of law, electricity and road construction among others are captured in the program which is aired Mondays-Fridays.
Coffee Break today featured live interviews with the following persons and issues:
- Dr. Robtel Pailay – Academic, Activist and Author of Gbagba speaks about a stage performance of the book today;
- Momo Cyrus - Head /SEGAL Security Firm highlights the significance of private security institutions in the provision of security and the consolidation of peace during the elections;
- James Kwabo - Executive Director /Talk Liberia says the group hosts the Columbia- Liberia youth exchange program 2017;
- Thomas Nagbe – Director for Infectious Disease Control / National Public Health Institute of Liberia joins the global community in celebrating world Rubies Day today
