Coffee Break - Thursday, May 18, 2017

Coffee Break is UNMIL Radio’s flagship news and current affairs program that highlights issues of concerns to UNMIL, government of Liberia, Civil Society and Grassroots communities. Issues such as peace and reconciliation, elections, women’s issues, current events, governance, rule of law, electricity and road construction among others are captured in the program which is aired Mondays-Fridays.
Coffee Break today featured live interviews with the following persons and issues:
  • Tolbert Nyenswah – Director General / National Public Health Institute of Liberia said the cause of deaths has been confirmed in Sinoe County.
  • Rev. Dr. Olu Menjay-Principal /Chief Administrative Officer / Ricks Institute comments on the postponement of the 9th graders WEAC exams
  • Atty. Ambrose Nmah – Director of Communications / Liberia Judiciary spoke about a 3 day Judiciary retreat.
  • Winston Dayue - Communications Officer / UN Women, UN and partners launch the social culture audit involving Traditional leaders.
  • Daniel Nyankona - Secretary General / Press Union of Liberia -PUL and partners to conduct a research study on the impact of media coverage on women's health
