Coffee Break - Tuesday, June 27, 2017

Coffee Break is UNMIL Radio’s flagship news and current affairs program that highlights issues of concerns to UNMIL, government of Liberia, Civil Society and Grassroots communities. Issues such as peace and reconciliation, elections, women’s issues, current events, governance, rule of law, electricity and road construction among others are captured in the program which is aired Mondays-Fridays.

Coffee Break today featured live interviews with the following persons and issues:

  • Mardea Martin Wiles- Deputy Minister for Planning, Policy and Research / Ministry of Gender, Children and Social protection speaks about the validation of the National Gender Policy;
  • Siatta Scott- Johnson – Coordinator / Female Journalist Association of Liberia FeJAL takes its building of young female journalists to Bomi County;
  • Foday Rogers –Chairman/88th Founders Day  Program Committee Booker Washington Institute – BWI celebrates 88th Founder’s day
