President Ellen Johnson –Sirleaf has launched the high level panel on migration with a commitment for collective partnership to address the irregular trend of migration in the Africa.
Meanwhile, the acting executive of the UN economic commission for Africa said the panel presents an opportunity for Africa and its partners to find solutions to addressing the challenges of irregular migration.
President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, at the weekend led the historic ground breaking of the first cross-border energy supply between Cote d’Ivoire, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea.
The General Manager of the CLSG Project said that the Cote d’ Ivoire, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea interconnection power line of 1300 kilometers with 11 sub-stations is the biggest construction project in the Mano River Union.
