Yesterday, the National Elections Commission certificated President-elect George Weah and Vice President-elect-Jewel Howard-Taylor as winners of the 2017 Presidential Election at its headquarters on 9 street, sinkor.
66 Representatives-elect in the 2017 Representative Election as the remaining 7 are undergoing some legal issues were also certificated.
Speaking at the Certification program President Elect George Weah assured Liberians that he will uphold the confidence reposed in him
Mr. Weah emphasized that his only interest is Liberia and the Liberian people and that he will not compromise that.
QUESTION:
Now that the 2017 elections are over, how do we reconcile our political difference?

All of the callers called for a national reconciliation beginning at the community level. They say true reconciliation will start with a government of inclusion, an equal distribution of the nation’s wealth, the respect of human rights and dignity and freedom of speech and the obeying the rule of law
