On the major streets of Liberia, one will find Children selling on the street. Most child traders are brought to Monrovia by relatives with the promise of education and a better life. Often, none of those promises are kept. Instead, children become the bread winner for the family.

We received calls from Montoserrado Grand Bassa, Grand Cape Mount and Lofa Counties.
The callers frowned at child traders. However, they claimed the misuse of the nation’s natural resources and public funds ,corruption, poverty and unemployment are major contributing factors.
