    • The National Elections Commission has set December 26 for the runoff Presidential election between Joseph Boakai of the Unity Party and George Weah of the Coalition for Democratic Change.
    • The Elections Coordinating Committee (ECC) has called on the Supreme Court of Liberia to clarify some of its directives to the National Elections Commission (NEC) as contained in its Thursday, December 7 opinion.
    • At the same time, the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has expressed its willingness to help the National Elections Commission in the cleanup of the Final Registration Roll (FRR).
    • The United States Agency for International Development has presented medical equipment valued over half a million United States Dollars to the Ministry of Health.
    • The United Nations Secretary General António Guterres has called for translating the words of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights into action.
    • Meanwhile, the Executive Director of the National Commission on Disability has called for the rights and protection of people with disabilities.
    • The Liberia Airport Authority (LAA) says the on-going construction work at the Robert International Airport is expected to be dedicated next Monday December 18.
    • The General Manager of the Western Region Supply Chain and Services has disclosed that the entity provides unique and affordable services to residents in the region.
