    • The Sixteen days campaign of violence against women in Liberia was launched on Friday December 8 at the UN headquarters, the Pan Africa Plaza in Sinkor.
    • Meanwhile, the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary General for Rule of Law Waldemar Vrey has noted that the political will from all angles can help to end violence against women and girl in Liberia.
    • As events to mark this year’s sixteen days of activism draws to a close, the Liberia National Children's Representative Forum is calling for non-concurrence with the Senate by the House of Representatives to amend the Rape Law.
    • The European Union Solidaridad West Africa and the Ministry of Agriculture have signed a Five million-Euro Grant Agreement to develop the cocoa sector in Liberia.
    • The Ministry of Health has held its 9th Joint Annual Review Health Conference in Monrovia under the theme: “The health Sector in Retrospect, setting the stage for universal Health Coverage in Liberia.”
    • For his part, World Health Organization Country Director, Alex Gassesira pledged his Organization’s support towards building a vibrant health system in Liberia against HIV and other diseases.
    • The Movement for Born and Naturalized Liberians (MOBANAL) has joined the call for the liberation of Africans migrants who are reportedly undergoing torture and inhumane sufferings in Libya.
    • The Libyan Ambassador to Liberia called on Africans and their leaders, to jointly tackle the migrant crises in his country and on the continent.
    • The Director of the Masters of Business Administration (MBA) program at the University of Liberia has stressed the need for collective national efforts to push the country forward.

    Josiah Nimley - County Health & Wash Coordinator / Africa Humanitarian Action (AHA) HARPER FIELD OFFICE . He explained that AHA in collaboration is distributing assortment sanitary materials to Ivorian Refugees at the Little Wlebo Refugees Camp
