Coffee Break is UNMIL Radio’s flagship news and current affairs program that highlights issues of concerns to UNMIL, government of Liberia, Civil Society and Grassroots communities. Issues such as peace and reconciliation, elections, women’s issues, current events, governance, rule of law, electricity and road construction among others are captured in the program which is aired Mondays-Fridays.
Coffee Break today featured live interviews with the following persons and issues:
- Roosevelt Woods - Head / Foundation for International Dignity (FIND) partners with the EU and ECOWAS in promoting peaceful electoral activities;
- James Kingsley - Program Manager for Education and Prevention / Liberia Anti-corruption Commission - LACC launches corruption risk assessment report;
- Jani Jallah Kollie – Public Relations Director / Paynesville City Corporation speaks about the Mayor’s participation at the World Conference of Mayors Trade and Investment to be held in Detroit, USA;
- Jacob Swee - Vice Principal/Booker Washington Institute -BWI talks about 2016/2017 progress report as well as 2017/2018 recruitment process, registration, commencement of classes, etc.
