    • The National Elections Commission (NEC) Monday certificated four new political parties, bringing the total number of recognized and registered political parties in the country to 26.
    • The Minister of Finance and Development Planning has presented the final audit report on the Private Sector Development Initiatives (PSDI) to President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.
    • The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection and partners have validating the National Gender Policy of Liberia.
    • Meanwhile, the officer in charge of UNWOMEN Peterson Mangola has challenged participants at the gender policy validation forum to approach the exercise with a commitment to ensure that the views and aspirations of the marginalized groups in the society.
    • Assistant Justice Minister for public safety and administration has said the government and partners are committed to ensuring that the security sector reform process is people-centered.
    • The enrollment of Ebola survivors and their closed relatives into the Ebola natural history study is expected come end this month.
